How to adjust the perpendicularity of the high pole lamp

time:Oct 26, 2022 Views:

High pole lights are usually designed with road poles over 12 m in height in two pole segments for easy insertion. One reason is that the main body of the light pole is too long to transport, and the other is that the total length of the high pole lamp is too long. If it is too long, you will inevitably need an extra large bender. If operated in this way, high pole lamps would be very expensive to produce. Similarly, the longer the body of a high pole lamp, the easier it is to deform.

However, plug connections will be affected by many factors. For example, high pole lamps are usually made of two or four plugs. During insertion, if the insertion is performed incorrectly or inserted in the wrong direction, the overall height of the high pole lamp will not be straight after installation, especially if it is at the bottom. When you look up at the high pole lamp, you will feel that the verticality is not in line with the requirements. What should we do in such a frequent situation? We treat it in the following ways.

1. First, let's look at the bottom, the part with the flange, to see if it is vertical, and there is the easiest way to measure if it is vertical. The method of operation is to bind the heavier objects with thinner nylon rope. About 10 meters from the high pole lamp, hold the upper part of the nylon rope with your hand to allow gravity to naturally drop, then pull the nylon rope away from your eyes. At 20cm, Pierce the bottom of the high pole lamp up and down with one eye through the vertical line of the nylon rope. If you use this method in four directions, east, west and south, and there is no problem, then the vertical degree of the lower part is good. If it is found that the lower part of the lamp and the nylon rope line is not very parallel, it should be adjusted in time; Otherwise, even if the line segment is high, the top will not be vertical. Oblique can be described as "the lower beam is not straight, the upper beam is curved".

2. Check whether the plug-in is installed. Usually, whether it is a high pole lamp, a communication tower or a beautification tower, all steel tubes that need to be inserted will have a theoretical depth of insertion in the design. If the actual insertion depth is significantly different from the theoretical insertion depth (more than 20 cm), the installation may be incorrect. Only when the depth is sufficient, can the vertical effect be effectively guaranteed.

3. If it is determined that the lower part is vertical, the other parts will also be inserted into place. If it is still not straight, there is only one possibility in this case, that the connection is in the wrong direction. Since most high pole lamps are designed with octagonal rods, a series of tests will be carried out before the finished high pole lamps leave the factory. After successful completion of each step of the commissioning series, the installer shall mark a position on the body of the tall pole to ensure that the construction team can install it correctly. If the assembly is not carried out in the marked direction, irregularities may result even if the lower part is vertical and inserted in place.

Through the introduction of the above steps, we can clearly understand that if the high pole lamp is not carefully installed, it will cause a lot of trouble in the future. Therefore, the relevant installers should be instructed to pay special attention to every detail in order to avoid the wrong insertion of high pole lights.
