a) Cleaning: use ultrasonic wave to clean PCB or LED bracket and dry it.


b) Racking: expand the electrode at the bottom of LED tube core (large disc) after silver glue is prepared, place the expanded tube core (large disc) on the crystal barb table, and install the tube core one by one on the PCB or the corresponding bonding pad of LED bracket with a crystal barb pen under a microscope, and then conduct sintering to solidify the silver glue.

c) Press welding: use aluminum wire or gold wire welding machine to connect the electrode to the LED tube core as the lead for current injection. For LED directly installed on PCB, aluminum wire welding machine is generally used. (Gold wire welder is required for making white TOP-LED)


d) Encapsulation: Protect the LED tube core and welding wire with epoxy through dispensing. When dispensing glue on PCB board, there are strict requirements on the gel shape after curing, which is directly related to the brightness of the finished backlight source. This process will also undertake the task of spot phosphor (white LED).


e) Welding: If the backlight is SMD-LED or other encapsulated LED, the LED needs to be welded to the PCB before the assembly process.


f) Film cutting: die cutting various diffusion films and reflective films required by the backlight with a punch.


g) Assembly: according to the drawing requirements, manually install various materials of the backlight source at the correct position.


h) Test: check whether the photoelectric parameters of the backlight and the light output uniformity are good.
