1. Look at the light source

When the incandescent lamp is installed, it is yellow light. When installing the energy-saving lamp, it can be white or yellow light depending on the bulb type. The direction of the light source of the ceiling downlight cannot be adjusted. Common household spotlights use quartz bulbs or lamp beads. Of course, large-scale spotlights do not necessarily use quartz bulbs. The quartz bulb has only yellow light. 2. Look at the application location

Downlights are generally installed in the ceiling, and generally the ceiling needs to be above 150mm before it can be installed. Of course, the downlight also has an external type. It is a good choice to install downlights in areas without ceiling lights or pendant lights, and the light should be softer than spotlights. Spotlights can generally be divided into track type, point hanging type and built-in type. Spotlights generally have transformers, but some do not. Built-in spotlights can be installed in the ceiling. 3. Look at the price

For the same grade, spotlights are more expensive. Generally speaking, domestic downlight spotlight brands with better quality include Op, Sanli, NVC, Sanxiong Aurora. Among them, NVC and Sanli have the best price/performance ratio. Downlights generally have three types: large (5 inches), medium (4 inches), and small (2.5 inches).
