Light-emitting material: The LED light-emitting structure usually uses transparent materials to achieve light output and conversion, and also plays a role in maintaining the chip and circuit layers. Traditional organic materials have problems such as poor temperature resistance, low thermal conductivity, and UV degradation, making it difficult to meet the needs of deep UV LED packaging. In recent years, the industry has tried to use inorganic transparent materials such as quartz glass and sapphire to encapsulate deep ultraviolet LED lamp beads.

Heat-dissipating substrate materials: LED heat-dissipating substrate materials commonly include resins, metals and ceramics. Among them, resin-based and metal-based substrates both have an organic resin insulating layer, which will reduce the thermal conductivity of the heat-dissipating substrate and affect the heat-dissipation performance of the substrate; and Ceramic substrates have many advantages such as high mechanical strength, good insulation, high heat transfer, good temperature resistance, and small thermal expansion coefficient.


Welding and bonding materials: The deep ultraviolet LED lamp bead welding materials include chip bonding materials and substrate welding materials, which are respectively used to realize the welding between chips, glass cover plates (lenses) and ceramic substrates. Gold-tin eutectic is often used in flip-chip to achieve chip bonding, which has high strength, better interface quality, and high thermal conductivity of the bonding layer, which reduces the thermal resistance of the LED.


Deep UV LED lamp beads have vital use value in sterilization, biochemical testing, health services, secret communications and other industries. Especially in the sterilization and disinfection industry, deep ultraviolet LEDs commonly use high-energy ultraviolet rays to irradiate microorganisms and destroy nucleic acid structures, thereby achieving the purpose of microbial inactivation. Compared with traditional sterilization and disinfection technology, deep ultraviolet LED lamp beads have the advantages of high sterilization efficiency, strong acceptability, no chemical pollutants, and easy operation.
